Luna's Lost Star
A poem about Luna's search for her missing star and the kindness she shares with others along the way.

A young girl smiles at a glowing star resting on her bedroom windowsill beneath a moonlit night sky, illustrating the kindness-themed poem "Luna's Lost Star."
By Maxine Willoughby
Every night before bed,
Luna’s star shines above her head.
It twinkled bright,
A friend throughout the night.
One morning light, Luna got a fright,
No star in sight!
She searched near, far, high and low,
Still no glow.
Where did it go?
She did not know.
Her adventure that day was like no other,
Helping others with little bother.
At day’s end,
Her heart could not mend.
In bed she gazed afar,
still apart from her little star.
On the windowsill she noticed a twinkle,
Even thought it was a little wrinkle,
It was her star,
Back from afar.
